Wirelessly Synchronize Clocks Across the Entire Campus
In the 21st century, accurate clocks are more important than ever. Inaccurate clocks can have a negative impact on the overall image of the university. Students may be late for class due to inaccurate university time displays. This problem is compounded when time displays differ between buildings on campus. Older, wired clock systems can be expensive and difficult to maintain over the entire campus.
The Solartime Master Transmitter first obtains accurate time from the U.S. time standard. We have a variety of methods available to obtain accurate time including, GPS (global positioning system), CDMA (cell towers) and NTP (network time protocol) time. The correct time is then transmitted over an FCC coordinated and approved frequency to all clocks throughout the facility or campus. Both digital and analog clocks are available in a wide variety of styles and models. Battery powered analog clocks are available that operate up to ten years between battery changes, and do not require any wiring.
Mass Notification Across the Entire Campus or City in Seconds, not Minutes.
Utilizing the BRG Solartime Transmitter, you can easily transform your BRG Wireless Synchronized Clock System into a wireless emergency mass notification system. BRG offers wireless moving message displays for sending alphanumeric messages throughout your campus and wireless PA speakers to broadcast verbal messages and alerts indoors or out. You can even use the moving message displays in classrooms as a secondary clock.
The BRG Wireless Software allows you to pre-program 16 messages into the software. These messages can be audio only, text only or both. The Solarwave Digital Audio Player comes with over 90 pre-recorded sounds, tones and messages. Using your own PC, verbal messages and commands can easily be recorded and stored on the Compact Flash (CF) card. This CF card is then plugged into the digital audio player. The Solarsign Moving Message Displays will display time, date and any message that is sent to it from the BRG Wireless Software. The message displays are available in a variety of sizes.
The wireless PA speakers and the moving message displays can be addressed to cover different zones across campus. Zone one could encompass the classroom buildings, zone two, the auditorium, zone three, the gymnasium and zone four, the athletic fields, zone five, cafeteria, zone six, dorms, etc… You can send messages to individual zones, or all of the zones at the same time. There are 256 different zones that can be set-up on the system.
The Solarwave OBS (Outdoor Broadcast System) is designed to deliver high quality audio messages to a broad area. In an emergency it is important to cover all parts of your campus.
The Solartime Wireless Clock and Emergency Mass Notification Systems not only keep students and faculty on the same schedule, it can save their lives in an emergency.
Solarsign Electronic Message Boards will display a wide variety of information including synchronized time, date, day of the week, and both emergency and non-emergency messages. A wide variety of sizes are available in both multi-color and single color configurations.
