Wireless Outdoor Speakers
OS1808-B
The BRG OS1808-B Wireless Speaker is a perfect way to add mass notification to a facility without the expense of adding costly wiring. OS1808

The OS1808 is designed for outdoor areas that have a large amount of ambient noise. It features a 14” 30 Watt long range horn speaker and two NFPA 72 recommended Amber strobe lights to catch the attention of workers or students. The unit also features an internal UPS battery back-up system that allows it to operate for at least 30 minutes at full power during a power failure.
This speaker puts out 90 decibels of sound at 10ft. The amber strobes are designed to catch your attention so you will shutdown any equipment, then listen to the emergency message on the horn speaker.
The speaker is housed in a weather resistant NEMA enclosure. The NEMA enclosure can be mounted on any flat surface.
The unit requires 110 VAC for power. An electrical contractor will need to run power and conduit to the location of the OS1808. The unit is designed to be hardwired to prevent moisture from getting inside the NEMA enclosure. The unit will need to be opened during installation to hardwire the pigtails and plug in the backup battery.
The OS1808 is not designed to be used solely as an outdoor broadcast system (OBS), but as a supplement to an OBS system.
