The BRG Wireless Indoor PA Speakers are a perfect way to add mass notification to a facility without the expense of adding costly wiring. The speaker features a highly reliable BRG Radio Receiver allowing you to send pre-recorded sounds, tones, verbal messages and live audio announcements throughout your facility.
These speakers also include an NFPA 72 recommended Amber strobe light that can be configured to light steady or flash when an emergency messages is being broadcast. This will alert the hearing impaired that an emergency message is being broadcast. Ten levels of security limit access to authorized staff only.
The speakers have a health lamp and volume adjustment on the back of the speaker.
Simply mount the indoor speaker housing in a location where you need to notify people of emergencies and plug in the provided AC adapter or supply 12VDC power. The speaker is activated through the BRG Wireless Software that comes with your Emergency Notification Master Transmitter.
A Emergency Notification Master Transmitter is required to operate the system. The master transmitter allows you to activate an emergency message from any networked PC, touch tone telephone or cellular phone. You can also make live audio announcements with this system.

IS1808
The IS1808 is designed for indoor areas that have a large amount of ambient noise. It features a 14” 30 Watt long range horn speaker and two NFPA 72 recommended Amber strobe lights to catch the attention of workers or students. The unit also features an internal UPS battery back-up system that allows it to operate for at least 30 minutes at full power during a power failure.
This speaker puts out 90 decibels of sound at 10ft. The amber strobes are designed to catch your attention so you will shutdown any equipment, then listen to the emergency message on the horn speaker.
The speaker is housed in a weather resistant NEMA enclosure, so it works indoors as well in humid and high dust areas. However it is not to be used in outdoors areas. For outdoor applications, please select the OS1808. The NEMA enclosure can be mounted on any flat surface.
The IS1808 can be purchased with one of two power cord lengths. The IS1808-8 comes with a 8 ft. power cord and the IS808-12 comes with a 12 ft. power cord. The unit requires 110 VAC for power. The NEMA enclosure will need to be opened during installation to plug in the backup battery.
