The BRG 900 MHz Supervision System for OBS Systems allows end users to send periodic tests to all OBS systems on Campus to see if they have power and are operating. A silent test can be sent to all OBS systems or to individual OBS Units. The system will run the test and report back to the head end unit that is installed on your BRG Control PC.

You will get a detailed report of unit status within moments of running the test. The software is simple to use.

System Diagnostics:

• Silent Test on demand as well as automatic scheduled tests
• Received Signal Strength of each OBS unit
• Temperature of the OBS unit (modem temperature)
• Modem operating voltage
• All communications from remote sites are logged

Features:

• Scheduled performance of Silent Test may be scheduled Weekly, Monthly, Annually or on demand
• Ability to play the same pre-recorded messages as the EMN system
• Supervised message activation takes priority over EMN system
• Ability to stop or cancel messages activated by the 900 MHz System
• Audio will play within 12 seconds of confirmation when sending to all OBS Units. The audio will activate in as little as 5 seconds when sent to a single OBS Unit
• Each OBS unit automatically reports to the head end unit when powered. The software automatically ads the OBS Unit to the list of units on your campus. OBS Units can be manually added or removed from the software
• Each OBS Units equipment cabinet has a tamper switch that report immediately to the Supervision Software if the cabinet door is opened or closed.
• Custom naming of each OBS Unit.
