BRG offers the latest and most reliable way to wirelessly synchronize all time displays in your facility to the U.S. Time Standard. Further, wireless synchronization is now available at a lower cost than most wired systems.
General Norman Schwarzkopf's World Business Review
The Solartime master clock is the heart of the system. Just as the Sun sends energy to all the planets, the Solartime master clock sends synchronized time to all clocks in your facility, or across the entire campus. The high cost of synchronized wiring is eliminated and clock maintenance is greatly reduced. The Solartime master clock can be configured with any one of many time receivers. The GPS receiver obtains time updates every second from Global Positioning Satellites. The NTP Ethernet receiver obtains time updates from local or Internet time servers. The CDMA receiver obtains time from local cell towers, eliminating the need for an outdoor antenna. IRIG-B, SMPTE and other time receivers are also available.
The Solartime transmitter clock uses a time proven, high power, UHF radio transmitter to send time updates to all clocks. The Solartime wireless system typically requires only one transmitter for complete RF coverage of your facility. The Solartime wireless system is fully expandable allowing you to start with a system that fits your immediate needs, and with the flexibility to add more devices and wireless solutions as needed.
The Solartime transmitter clock includes a powerful alarm schedule function, plus both wired and wireless alarm output. Any number of direct wired or wireless horns, bells, tone generators, and power relays may be used.

Mass Notification Across the Entire Campus or City in Seconds, not Minutes

Emergency Mass Notification Systems are available to instantly send text and/or audio messages throughout a facility or across an entire campus in a matter of seconds, not minutes. A reliable licensed UHF radio frequency is used to immediately communicate threats across the entire organization. When cell phones, land lines, email and other publicly shared communications become overloaded, this dedicated emergency broadcast system will continue to function.
Operational Overview - A control computer or telephone is used to access the master transmitter(s). Any number of control points and master transmitters may be used. The master transmitter broadcasts audio and text to any number of electronic message boards and wireless paging speakers. In addition to live and pre-recorded audio commonly offered, the BRG system includes AT&T “Natural Voices” text-to-speech. Few people want to speak live over a wide area paging system during stressful emergency conditions; and, pre-recorded audio does not have the flexibility to follow changing conditions. However, BRG has developed a solution that uses the AT&T "Natural Voices" text to speech engine (TTS). The TTS system allows the accuracy of a typed message, and the flexibility of live audio, all with the clarity of professionally recorded audio. No other mass notification system offers this level of clear and concise communication.
The BRG Indoor/Outdoor Broadcast System can deliver audio and text messages to a wide area. In an emergency, it is important to cover all parts of the campus, including outdoor areas. In addition to indoor notification products, BRG offers high power outdoor audio paging systems and ultra-bright message boards. The message boards can display a wide variety of information including synchronized time, date, day of the week, and most importantly, emergency messages.
The wireless PA speakers and the moving message displays can be addressed to cover different zones in your school. Zone one could encompass the main school building, zone two, the auditorium, zone three, the gymnasium and zone four, the athletic fields. You can send messages to individual zones, or all of the zones at the same time. There are 255 different zones that can be set-up on the system to address specific buildings or areas.
Benefits of a BRG Emergency Mass Notification System:
- Send emergency announcements wirelessly throughout a facility or campus or any size area in just seconds
- Initiate a large scale alert in seconds, regardless of the number of alert devices or coverage area
- No cell phones or other special equipment is required for people to receive audio and visual alerts
- The emergency warning system is very easy to operate under stressful conditions
- An FCC Licensed frequency is utilized (not frequencies open to the public such as cell phones)
- Professionally recorded announcements provide clear and consistant communications
- Broadcast audio/text messages throughout your campus using wireless speakers and message displays
- Alert a single building or the entire campus, indoors and outdoors, using both audio and visual devices
- Electronic message boards double as highly accurate time displays, automatically adjusting for Daylight Saving Time
